I don’t really know what to put here, honestly. I mean, if you’re reading this, you probably know me pretty well – I don’t expect strangers to be checking out this blog. If, however, I say something truly amazing that gets referenced in the New York Times, thus attracting thousands of readers to this page, then I guess here I go.
My name isn’t really Aiyan Mernerd – that’s just a common mispronunciation (i.e. at my high school graduation). I’m a sophomore in college, but I’m not going to tell you where in case you’re some kind of stalker (it’s been known to happen, I am pretty hot). I’m getting a business degree, probably in Finance. Honestly though, I’ve wanted to be an author since age nine, and it’s only now I’m gaining the courage to admit it. I would love to write comics for a living, but I wouldn’t mind writing a novel or two either. Maybe I’ll put some of my stuff up here, who knows?
What else? Let’s see, what interests me? Well, obviously comic books. Books in general really, although years of pre-AP and AP english classes beat the will to read out of me until recently. I like television, but there are only two or three shows I watch regularly. Music is amazing, particularly oldies and disco, alternative, and recently indie-folk. Anything you can dance, rock-out, or chill to basically. I love to run and work out, and just to be outside in general. And I love Jesus, corny as that sounds. Or at least I try to love Jesus. Or try to try. Yeah.
You want more, ask.
